He checks up on us, always looks out for us, knows exactly how to make us smile when we are bummed – these are just a few adorable things our dads do. And all of this out of nothing but love! Doesnt it make him our partner in the truest sense?
This Fathers Day, BYJUS is celebrating fatherhood and the journey from Papa to Partner. Lets dive in, and take a look at some of the adorable things that make your father, your buddy.
He is your go-to person when you need advice or a simple rant session. He knows all your best buddies, your not-so-close friends and even your boss! Talking to him feels like therapy and you know, he always has your back. He is also your most honest critic and wont let you settle for anything less than the best.
From the first step you took as a child to your BIG moments in life, he has always been the one to cheer the loudest! Distributing sweets, getting you gifts or simply giving you the tightest hug – he has his own ways of making you feel special. It makes you the happiest to know that he is proud of you!
Want someone to rescue you from those pesky conversations? Mom said no to something? Or need some figuring out in life? All it takes is just one look at your dad and he jumps in to help. Be it the coolest handshake, shared love for football, a bag full of inside jokes or a chat over chai, you have your own secret language and routines with him.
You are your papas reflection and have more in common with him than you think. It can be a simple nod, the way you dance or how you say a certain catchphrase. And you love being a mini version of him, sharing his quirks and habits. And wouldnt have it any other way!
He loves being a part of your life and enjoys being taught new tricks. From watching your favourite movies with you to getting a hang of your cool new words and sharing doggo/catto memes with you – he does it all. (Well, at least he tries!)
Does this sound relatable? And, what are some of the other cute things that your dad does that make him your BEST friend? Tell us in the comments section below.
