Whats next?
At BYJUS, we are constantly decoding this as we continue to build and come up with new and innovative solutions. Whats the next big learning solution? Whats next in technology? Whats next for our workforce? This proactive thinking not only helps us create effective learning solutions but also comprehend the future of work. The idea is to always think and stay one step ahead of the curve.
With this in mind and an aim to build a talent pool of young human resource managers, BYJUS has now come up with a management trainee programme for MBA graduates in HR, called HR School: The Road to Success.
Designed in five phases, HR School will help business graduates hone their skills and gain a breadth of experience through a 10-week, structured, upskilling programme. During this time, young HR professionals will also gain domain expertise in human resource management. The in-depth experience will further be augmented with hands-on training, on-the-job learning, and mentorship opportunities.
The five-phase programme comprises classroom training on functional and behavioural modules, job shadowing for a better understanding of the role, and project work for an experience of solving real challenges. BYJUS HR School also offers an immersion into the sales ecosystem through hands-on training.
With sessions facilitated by Regional HR leaders, young professionals will be provided with more than 30 hours of high-impact HR classroom training. These trainings are aimed at offering a blended learning experience, comprising real-time scenarios, role plays, and interactive workshops with cases specific to BYJUS. Each student will also be given an opportunity to virtually shadow their mentor. The goal is to prepare young HR professionals for real-world scenarios and bridge the gap between classroom training and an actual, on-the-job environment.
In the last phase, students will be mentored by a senior HR Leader for five weeks. Their project will be reviewed by Senior HR Leaders during mid and final review in terms of the impact created by the project on the regional team.
In order to identify and reward talents, we also have an assessment framework in place that will test the HR professionals on an array of skills across the five phases. “The aim is to help the young HR professionals acquire and develop workplace-ready skills, says Nagarajan V, a part of the senior leadership team at BYJUS, explaining the core goal of HR School. We will essentially be helping them become problem solvers who can understand business objectives, identify challenges and give practical solutions.
